Day 26: title your poem with a word invented by Shakespeare.
You walked into the party
Like we all belonged to you
Boisterous, needy and brash
Unaware of any feelings there
That weren’t your own to bleat about
And though I hadn’t met you before
I was reminded of a beloved quote
From my coffee cup, the one loaded
With delicious Shakespearean insults
I do desire we may be better strangers.
